POLL STAFF TRAINING STARTS IN SOLWEZI

The training of Poll Staff in Solwezi started today Saturday, 17 November, 2018. One hundred and fifty (150) Poll Staff are being trained in preparation for the Tumvwanganai Ward by-election scheduled for 20th November, 2018.

POLL STAFF TRAINED AHEAD OF 20TH NOVEMBER, 2018 POLLS

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) is conducting a two (2) day training programme for Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers and Ushers also collectively known as Poll Staff from 16th to 17th November, 2018 in places where elections are expected to take place on 20th November, 2018.

ECZ KNOWLEDGE HUB HOSTS MEDIA AND STUDENTS

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) hosted media personnel from various media houses in Lusaka District at the ECZ Knowledge Hub in the Lusaka Showgrounds next to the Bank of Zambia Stand on 13th November, 2018. The Commission also hosted students from various higher learning institutions on 14th November, 2018.

ESC STAFF, BE PROFESSIONAL – MULEYA

Kaoma Council Secretary Mr. Given Muleya addressing trainees for the Election Support Centre (ESC) at Kaoma District Council on 14th November, 2018 has called on the ESC staff to be professional and dedicated to duty as they discharge the functions of the ESC.

ELECTION SUPPORT CENTRES TO BE ESTABLISHED DURING THE CONDUCT OF 20TH NOVEMBER, 2018 POLLS

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) is conducting a two day training exercise on establishment and operationalisation of Election Support Centres (ESCs). ESCs are centres from which ECZ officers monitor key activity areas of the poll day in areas where elections are taking place and in turn provide near to real time periodic reports on progress of the elections to ECZ Headquarters in Lusaka.
